The Woodward Flats on Western sits just behind The Woodward. A very large three-story Queen Anne Painted Lady, The Woodward Flats offers business-class, bed-and-breakfast-style apartments for business travel and transitional business lodging.

While technically not a B&B under city code, The Flats is owned and operated by The Woodward proprietress and is a part of the continuing redevelopment and beautification of the historic Holliday Park neighborhood, cornered by The Woodward and Topeka High School which was built to match The Woodward.

The Woodward Flats on Western was given the 2009 Historic Preservation Award by the Shawnee County Preservation Society.

The Front Flat is the largest and nicest of The Woodward Flats. The Front Flat is renovated in rich hues of tangerine, beige, sage, copper and brown with darker woods and hardwood floors. It features a king bedroom, bathroom with tub/shower enclosure, living room with queen sofa sleeper, and retro-style kitchen. The Front Flat has flat screen TV/DVD, CD stereo, and wireless Internet The Front Flat also has direct access to the very comfy full front porch with sofas, tables, chairs. The Front Flat also has a large front yard with offstreet parking in the back. The Front Flat rate is $1400 per month (fully furnished including all utilities). Multi-monthly discounts are also available.

	The Side Flat is a more cost efficient apartment with a queen sized bedroom with copper metal bed, living room with a queen sofa sleeper, larger kitchen and bathroom with tub/shower enclosure. The Side Flats is renovated in colors of yellow, beige, brick and cream with oak woodworking and soft tan carpet throughout. The Side Flat has TV, CD stereo, wireless Internet and access to the basement washer dryer. The Side Flat has access to a back deck and has offstreet parking." The Side Flat rate is $1100 per month (fully furnished including all utilities) with multi-monthly discounts available.
